Homosexuality

God’s moral law is still binding.  Homosexuality, alongside other forms of sexual sin are condemned.

But  according to 2 Corinthians 5:17, If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away, behold the new has come.

1 Corinthians 6: 9-11 says as new believers , your sins are washed away. You are sanctified. You are justified.

Liberation from any stronghold is possible. Liberation from any sin is possible. It requires an unwavering commitment and hard work. It also requires complete obedience to Christ.

Temptation comes to all of us. 1 Corinthians 10:13 says God is faithful and He will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation, He will also provide a way of escape, that you may be able to endure.

As with any temptation you are overcoming, get rid of anything that is a reminder.  Flee when possible.

Our soul is our mind, our will, our emotions and our thoughts.  One source of deceiving thoughts is Satan.  We must not let Satan deceive us. We must renew our minds. What are you thinking about?  Get rid of stronghold by casting down evil thoughts. TV can influence our thinking.  Do you find yourself accepting of things you thought were wrong years ago?   We also can’t base our actions on our fickle thought and emotions.  Read the Word of God to renew your mind.  Change your thoughts. Think about something different. 

According to Psalm 23, He can restore our soul. Ask God to restore your soul. Make some changes in your life. Line your thinking up with the Word of God.  Get your thoughts in line with God’s thoughts.
